Our commitment
Viaive provides editorial travel advisory content and private placement services. When editorial positions align with commercial relationships, we disclose them here. Compensation does not influence advisory recommendations — suitability for the traveller's parameters is the sole criterion.
Partner compensation
Viaive may receive compensation in two ways: advisor compensation when travel is placed through Viaive and Fora, and partner compensation when a reader clicks or books through selected Stay22-supported commercial links. Compensation is paid by the supplier or partner, not by the traveller, and it does not add to the cost of the arrangement.
Fora affiliation
Viaive operates as a travel advisor affiliated with Fora Travel Inc. Fora is a licensed travel agency. Access to preferred partner programmes, amenity tiers, and certain exclusive rate categories is facilitated through Fora's agency agreements. The Fora name and logo are the property of Fora Travel Inc. and are referenced here solely to disclose the affiliation.
Editorial standard
Editorial content on this site — including destination guides, hotel assessments, and journey frameworks — reflects Viaive's independent perspective. Properties, experiences, and destinations referenced in editorial content are not guaranteed to be active booking partners. References are not sponsored unless explicitly labelled.
Stay22 links and commercial technology
Viaive currently treats Stay22 as the active public affiliate layer. The site may use Stay22 LetMeAllez, LinkSwap, Spark, Nova, Allez links, or server-side Stay22-compatible redirects on Travel Pulse cards, destination pages, editorial pages, hotel decision guides, or other relevant commercial surfaces.
Some links may be inserted, optimized, rewritten, or redirected through Stay22 technologies for supported providers such as Agoda via VIO, Booking.com, Expedia, GetYourGuide, Hotels.com, KAYAK, TripAdvisor, Vrbo, or Stay22. Where a paid partner path is present, Viaive may earn compensation if you click or complete a qualifying booking.
Viaive may also route booking-related actions through private correspondence when advisor placement is the stronger path. Unsupported providers, transfers, insurance, connectivity, and non-stay products should not be presented as affiliate routes unless current Stay22 coverage or a disclosed partner path supports them.
Image provenance
Some Viaive page imagery is AI-generated to create a distinct, cinematic visual system. These images are editorial illustrations of travel mood, arrival, hospitality, or decision context; they are not evidence that a named hotel room, view, suite, restaurant, or property condition exists exactly as shown. Property-specific claims should be supported by source-backed copy, current verification, or partner-supplied media.
FTC and ASA compliance
In compliance with US FTC guidelines (16 CFR Part 255) and UK ASA/CAP requirements, material connections between Viaive and commercial partners are disclosed in this document and referenced on relevant pages. What this means when you click a link
Examples: if you click through to a supported provider from a hotel mention, a destination page, or a journal article and complete a qualifying booking, Viaive may earn a partner commission from that provider or from advisor compensation on placed travel. Compensation does not change editorial verdicts and normally adds no cost to the traveler — the ranking, the "best for" and "avoid if" calls, and the room-category guidance on pages like /best/tokyo-hotels are decided before any commercial relationship is considered.
